Thicker stock: multiply

4/4 × 15/4 × 1-1/46/4 × 1-1/28/4 × 2 10/4 × 2-1/212/4 × 316/4 × 4

Example: for an 8/4 board 6″ wide and 10′ long, the table gives 5.00; doubled for 8/4, that's 10 BF.

Remember: board feet use the rough (nominal) thickness — 4/4 counts as a full inch even though it surfaces to about 13/16″. Buy 15–20% over your math for waste.
